A Scheduling Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to coordinate caregivers onto cases and assist with managing the continuity of care for our clients. Scheduling Coordinator Duties:
- Manage all scheduling activities, including replacement and substitute caregivers
- Resolve client, family, and caregiver differences
- Maintain files to meet all internal, state, and Federal quality and compliance standards
- Select and interact with appropriate caregivers
- Conduct service calls with a prospective client
- Must handle on-call duties on a rotating basis and as needed by the office
Essential Skills/Qualities:
- Nurturing ability (Caring, empathetic, compassionate)
- Articulate, with strong verbal and written skills and pleasant phone manner
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Previous health/home care or staffing experience preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license, positive driving record, reliable transportation and be able to drive to and from client sites at a moment’s notice.
